In his position, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding students toward their next steps, serving as a positive influence for youth and their families.

This is a Full-time position - 40 hours per week, Weekday shifts are from 3:00pm - 11:00pm; while weekends entail shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Must be flexible in the schedule.

Responsibilities:

Foster a safe environment for children and families, demonstrating skills, abilities, and knowledge conducive to their well-being.

Execute job duties under regular supervision while actively seeking opportunities to expand expertise.

Develop, monitor, and report on treatment objectives for children, collaborating within designated teams.

Identify and address behavioral differences, participating in the creation and execution of service and behavior management plans.

• Build supportive relationships with youth and families, implementing necessary rules and routines with emotional competence and good judgment.
• Engage youth and families in trust-based relationships, preparing them for transitions and promoting independence and respect within the community.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience in the human service field, specifically working with youth.
• OR Associate's degree and 1.5+ years of similar experience in the human service field.
• OR Bachelor s degree and 1+ years of experience. (Education verification required)
• Valid driver s license and compliance with agency driving standards (DMV verification required).
• 1-2 years of solid work experience in a similar field or related fields working with youth (e.g., Residential treatment centers, OCFS Facilities, security guard experience welcome).
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
