Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our team. The Radiology Technologist will perform radiographic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans according to physician orders.
- Position patients correctly and use radiation protection measures to ensure patient safety and image quality.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Review imaging results for quality and accuracy, and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
- State licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, equipment operation, and radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
