**Aerotek is immediately interviewing and hiring for warehouse associates in the Syracuse area!****Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm****Pay: $17.50 - $18/hr****Description:**TYPICAL DAY+ Receiving+ Unloading trucks+ Scanning product into the facility+ Putting product away into warehouse for storage until needed on floor+ Shipping+ Scanning product out of the facility+ Shrink wrapping+ Loading onto trucks+ Delivering product to production floor for assemblers/operators+ Moving finished product back to loading dockSUMMARY+ The Warehouse Worker receives, stores, and issues materials, supplies and equipment. Maintains warehouse supplies and materials.JOB DESCRIPTION+ Receives, stores and issues materials, supplies and equipment+ Sets priorities and dates for outgoing deliveries+ Checks incoming materials, equipment, and supplies for conformity to purchase orders and specifications+ Inspects orders for quantity, quality, damages and other discrepancies+ Reports shortages, damages, and other discrepancies as needed+ Packs and crates equipment and supplies for shipment to vendors of returns, over shipments, damaged shipments and goods to be repaired; completes and maintains memo file for shipping; notifies vendor of pickups for retuned items.+ Assists with the layout of the warehouse storeroom+ Prepares inventory control slips and posts control numbers to equipmentMUST HAVES+ Shipping and Receiving experience within a manufacturing environment+ Ability to use a compute+ Ability to lift 50 lbs**If you're interested please apply and I will reach out ASAP!****About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
