**Warehouse Worker**
**Location:** Carlstadt, NJ, US, 07072 * Operate forklift equipment consisting of reach trucks, sit down, order selector at ascending heights of up to 20 feet.
* Maintain safe operating condition of material handling equipment.
* Daily inspection of material handling equipment
* Ability to process import and export shipment.
* Process customer returns.
* Pick orders.
* Put away stock.
* Unload/load trailers.
* Palletize loads i.e. stacking, consolidating, banding and stretch-wrap
* Fill out required warehouse documents.
* Verify material labels and amounts.
* Operate hand held tools.
* Communicate warehouse issues outside and inside department.
* Keep equipment and warehouse clean and orderly.
* Qualified forklift operator.
* Knowledge of most warehouse positions.
* Problem solve and make operational decisions.
* Prepare proper shipping documents.
* Understanding of facilities emergency contingency plan.
* Observe safety rules and report unsafe acts and conditions to supervision.
* Approximately 20% of job involves communication with others, 60% operating material handling equipment or lifting material and 20% information and data collection.
* Experience with forklift a must.
* SAP warehouse system experience a plus.
* This job requires typing or data accuracy,
* Must have experience on word and excel
* Job requires frequent lifting up to average of 40 lb. and occasional lifting up to 90 lb.
* Ability to read /write/speak English, good math skills and familiar with units of measures.
* Availability to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
