Job Description:

Objective: Provide leadership in materials, with focus on improving reliability, inventory, accuracy, customer fill rates

and inventory turns

Minimum Requirements:

Associates Degree in a related field

3-5 years of relevant experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Determine inventory stocking requirements for end items and components and establish inventory layout to support

the requirements

Develop and implement standard packaging and label specifications to support internal materials control and

identification

Lead the cycle count process; ensuring counts are being done on time.

Establish product popularity code for each part number to support the cycle count process

Thoroughly reconcile cycle count variances and lead the process for improving cycle count accuracy

Train, supervise, and lead the warehouse team in day-to-day activities cycle count process

Develop Kanban inventory procedures for replenishment of line side storage

Manage and supervise daily work activities in warehousing and logistics functions, ensuring timely and accurate

delivery of materials production resources in order to support efficient, uninterrupted activities.

Determine inventory stocking requirements for internal Kanban items to support manufacturing

Review forecast for all components and end items monthly to reduce the opportunity for ordering products with

declining requirements and capture any inventory obsolescence risk

Coordinate with the Purchasing group to ensure proper procurement and distribution of the inventory

Develop standard order quantities based on sales volume and packaging standards

Develop, post, and distribute inventory management system reports

Provide leadership in all material control functions

Develop and track slow moving inventory metrics and implement controls for improvement

Lead and audit kitting process to improve accuracy and efficiency

Utilize lean manufacturing initiates to establish effective stock levels including but not limited to time to replenish,

pull systems and plan for every part projects

Partner with primary suppliers and customers to implement inventory reduction initiatives

Modify and monitor layout of warehouse to improve flow and efficiency of manufacturing process

Pay rate from $85,000 based on experience.
