WHAT YOU'LL DOViant is looking for a VP, Marketing Operations to be based in our New York office. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will manage a team of professionals across a range of Marketing disciplines including brand strategy, advertising, social media (organic), event activation and content marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience within the technology sector and has strong communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills. This role requires deep knowledge of B2B marketing strategy with expertise in brand and awareness building, messaging & positioning, content creation, social media and event marketing.THE DAY-TO-DAY
    • Manages Marketing Operation team to ensure the development and implementation of core business, competitive, and brand marketing plans and strategies to achieve over all company objectives.
    • Lead a highly effective and efficient marketing team inclusive of advertising, social media, lead management, events and content marketing.
    • Create a productive and efficient environment providing leadership, inspiration and coaching to all team members.
    • Develop and manage company brand strategy and drive improved brand awareness.
    • Drive the development of website and overall web strategy
    • Develop critical metrics and marketing reports based on quarterly marketing KPIs
    • Responsible for advertising and media partnerships to drive market impact and support the Sales team in their quest to add new customers.
    • Produce high-quality content for our customers such as webinars, whitepapers, case studies, blog, videos, etc.
    • Manage events and speaking opportunities to participate in and manage the team to ensure flawless execution.
    • Measure the performance of all activities and campaigns, assess them against goals (ROI, KPIs) and adjust strategy & activities to achieve them
    • Lead a motivated and experienced team of marketing professionals
GREAT TO HAVE
    • 10 + years of Marketing experience in the technology space.
    • B2B marketing experience on the client side is required
    • Experience working within advertising technology is a plus
    • BA in Marketing, Advertising or a related field, advanced degree is a plus
    • Demonstrable success in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all aspects of brand marketing
    • Strong people management skills with the ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff
    • Strong understanding of budgets, business planning and metrics tracking
    • Ability to motivate and manage external agency partners to drive measurable results

$185,000 - $225,000 a yearBase salary range: $185,000 - $225,000In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant's reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role.
