DISCOVER your opportunityContribute to deployment of the Global Health PE investment strategiesTransaction modelling, execution, management and monitoring Build relationships with companies, co-investors, entrepreneurs and strategics to access deal flow, help with deal execution and drive exitsDeliver both financial and impact returns through the portfolio Your role and responsibilities will includePipelineOriginate new deal-flow; leveraging existing network and creating new leads Screen and rank the pipeline opportunities effectivelyConduct due diligence on the clinical, financial, regulatory, commercial and impact aspects of potential investmentsWrite initial deal screening memos as well as extensive investment memos Deal ExecutionSupport the execution of direct investments in companies for the global health strategiesInvestment analysis and financial modelling both before and after investments are madeUnderstand the impact opportunity-set being addressed and provide input to maximize impactLead negotiations; assess and establish innovative deal structures Investment TeamActively manage the relationship with portfolio companies including via Board engagement, creation of tracking plans and regular interaction with management teamsContribute to sourcing, meeting management, database maintenance, valuation exercises, reporting, analysis and investment recommendationsAssist companies with clinical, regulatory, commercial, impact and exit strategiesExternal Stakeholder ManagementInterface with third party service providers relating to due diligence and deal execution; interact with fund investors to provide information and reports on the portfolio s financial and impact performanceInternal Stakeholder ManagementLiaise with all internal stakeholders including risk, compliance, legal, operations, audit and build effective working relationships and processes to ensure efficient executionProject ManagementAssist in co-ordinating projects in the private equity impact investing team including new product development; process improvement; system implementation; portfolio management; reporting Extract impact data from transactions and build a methodology to report Your ProfileSHARE your unique expertise Your qualifications and experience Knowledge of the healthcare industry and extensive experience in investing or management consulting, investment banking or private equity-backed healthcare companiesExperience through the investment life cycle, from sourcing to diligence to execution and exitAbility to build sophisticated financial and valuation models Previous experience in the healthcare and impact investment sector is preferableKnowledge of emerging markets and global health is preferableFamiliarity with medical device/pharmaceutical/vaccine clinical and regulatory pathways Comfort with life sciencesAbility to bring new ideas to the investment processEntrepreneurial attitude and highly motivated individual who is able to function at a high level in an ever-changing environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects effectivelyHighly numerical and analytical Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experiencePreferable advanced University degree with relevant focus for global health investing The pay range for this position is ($150,000 $200,000 ). Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual s skills, experience and location.
