Meet is partnered with a Healthcare Advertising Services company in need of a Vice President to lead their digital strategy. The Strategic Planning Director-VP oversees a team of Strategic Planners, Senior Planners, and Planning Directors, taking the lead in developing communication strategies for new and existing business opportunities.
Responsibilities include
- Keeping abreast of emerging therapeutic areas for potential business
- Organizing teams for pitches, and serving as the main contact for clients and the team in the Director's absence.
Key duties include
- Developing strategic communication plans,
- Identifying target markets,
- Conducting primary and secondary research,
- Mentoring planners, designing and executing market research studies,
- Consulting with clients on research design and results,
- Providing strategic recommendations on marketing and promotional strategies,
- Leading brand positioning and creative brief development,
- Managing client relationships, overseeing team projects and career development
- Spearheading new business efforts,
- Demonstrating expertise in healthcare professional behavior.
Qualifications include at least
- 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in marketing, advertising, market research, or consulting, with strategic planning experience preferred.
- An advanced degree is also preferred.
