Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze complex credit actions, considering various factors in assessment areas outlined below.
- Conduct ongoing and risk-based monitoring of credit actions, evaluating data and identifying trends.
- Assist in individual credit assessments, collaborating with team members for finalization.
- Document monitoring results and provide periodic risk assessments of assigned credit actions or portfolio reviews.
- Ensure timely completion of all work products in required formats.
- Develop or assist in developing samples for assessment purposes.
- Provide advisory support to Front, Second, and Third Line colleagues based on assessment findings and QA Team recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, with at least 5 years of progressive credit/lending/examination experience. MBA highly desirable.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Experience in credit risk, risk rating (internal and regulatory), credit standards and procedures application, credit/financial statement analysis, with a solid understanding of business and financial markets and their impact on risk assets.
- Ability to analyze portfolio trends, identifying changes in risk levels and process control breakdowns.
- Capability to identify opportunities for process improvement in assessed areas.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across Front and Second Line processes.
