VP Compensation | FinTech

New York (hybrid)

Salary $180,000 - $220,000 + Bonus

Oakleaf have an exciting opportunity for a VP of Compensation to join a great global comp and bens team. As part of the firm's growth this VP of Comp role is a new role to expand the team. This rapidly expanding fintech firm is a market leader in its field and has grown and scaled at a phenomenal rate. They are looking for exceptional talent to support the firm in their next phase of development. You will join the existing US team to manage compensation programs to achieve consistency and competitiveness in a highly competitive market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on compensation policies and practices - job evaluation, base salary, variable pay, pay structures, internal equity, external market trends, and regulatory compliance. Includes executive compensation programs.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with clients and HR Implement compensation initiatives and design structures.
  • Facilitate project management and process adoption.
  • Participate in market surveys and develop training programs.
  • Support the communication strategy and processes for compensation across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of compensation experience with a college degree.
  • Previous experience as a compensation subject matter expert in a large organization.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Attention to detail.
