In this role, you will play a vital part in our growth trajectory.At Tilebar we are seeking a skilled Visuals Editor to join our team and take charge of creating captivating visual content to enhance our company's brand identity and storytelling across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of aesthetics, and proficiency in visual editing software. The Visuals Editor will collaborate closely with the content team to produce engaging visual materials that resonate with our audience.The salary range for this position is$70,000to$90,000per year. Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.ResponsibilitiesVisual Curation:Demonstrate exceptional skills in image curation, visual storytelling, and color.Assist with research, image selection, video selection, and credits for projects.Collaborate with Design, Product, Video, Web, and Merchandising teams to schedule asset handoff deadlines aligned with product launches.Collaborate with Design and Video on visual needs and promotion planning for digital and print features.Replace and handle hi-res imagery swaps for FPO (For Placement Only) imagery in design files.Assist with basic design changes, including color or minor layout adjustments.Handle quick publishing requests and updates from Marketing, Design, and Web teams.Collaborate with designers, photographers, and videographers to convert master files into various formats while maintaining creative integrity.Pitch cross-platform ideas aligned with established brand identity and visual strategy.Photo Retouching:Manage communication with outsource retouching teams.Create detailed photo decks for the outsourcing team to follow guidelines and processes with our images and videos.Send and receive hundreds of images a month to the outsource team to complete.Complete quality control on all images received and add finals to our internal servers.Manage post-production processes, procedures, and outputs, including retouching, editing, and maintaining quality standards.Edit/retouch for tasks such as product editing, color corrections, image background expansion, compositing multiple images together, etc.Oversee the post-production process for low-res and hi-res photo selection and final delivery.Digital Asset Management:Run day-to-day management of post-production external vendors, coordinating retouching needs and timelines.Manage photo standards for file quality, SEO/marketing optimization, aspect ratios, and naming conventions.Maintain consistent workflow by transferring, renaming, uploading to our database, and archiving non-relevant/outdated assets.QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Photography, or a related field3+ years of experience in professional retouching and photo asset management3+ years in photo curating or photo editingKnowledge of emerging file formats and web-friendly file export featuresStrong understanding of image compression and content managementAttention to detail and an ongoing commitment to achieving high-quality results.Experience with Adobe Photoshop & MS OfficePhoto production, management, and organization skillsHighly detail-orientedStrong communication skillsAbility to multitask and capable of working independently and in a teamAbility to excel in a high-volume workflowExperience creating GIFsBasic experience with handling video files and/or editing videoAt TileBar, we are committed to fostering a workplace that embraces and celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion.
