**DESCRIPTION** The Visual Trimmer is responsible for visually presenting the look and current trends through merchandising, windows, and in-store displays. **Visual Merchandiser**

Create one of a kind, engaging, inspiring installations and presentations that support the companys initiatives and are align with the Bergdorf Goodman aesthetic.

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining visual standards for the assigned floors.

Must be aligned with current fashion trends and able to interpret this in mannequin styling as well as life-styled table displays, understanding how it translates to the Bergdorf Goodman customer.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.Knowledge and understanding of current trends and cultural awareness.

Partner with the selling and stock teams to maintain their areas of responsibility.

Partner and provide direction and guidance with vendors to ensure the BG aesthetic is being maintained on merchandising and in the design of pop up, PA, selling events, etc. Again to ensure that the BG brand remains front and center.

Support the seasonal directives, trends set by fashion office, throughout the floor. Partner with the Fashion manager to assist with mannequin looks and styling directives.

Work with the Buying and selling managers on the weekly vendor updates.

Maintain communication with buying line regarding adjacencies, vendor requests, business opportunities and challenges in order to support the business.

Partner with the Visual Manager on all presentations and pop ups. Some computer rendering may be assigned.

Drafting or updating floor plans/ time and action for trunk shows. Creating and updating vendor signage.

Partner with PR and the Visual Manager to coordinate aesthetic and needs of all events, PAs for the assigned floors. Comply with all NMG/ BG security policies at all times/ ensure all merchandise is handled properly .

Others duties and responsibilities as needed.

Must be able to work on your feet and capable of lifting (boxes, mannequins, etc.) as heavy as 50lbs
