**Visual Merchandiser**
at Aim Leon Dore Retail- New York Aim Leon Dore is looking for a hybrid role of a Visual Merchandiser to join the team in New York, reporting directly to Store Management and The Director of Retail. This position will be responsible for delivering a premium customer experience, a employee experience and implementing programs & processes to ensure the successful operation of the first New York flagship.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
* Creating and implementing a visual merchandising strategy for all retail locations
* Ensuring the strategy is in line with the stores brand, products, calendar and target market.
* Generating sketches of visual displays that meet the stores visual design requirements.
* Finalizing designs and creating detailed floor plans for display areas.
* Sourcing the props, creative materials, and accessories for displays.
* Installing and setting up window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays, or supervising contractors hired for this purpose.
* Changing displays to promote new product launches or to reflect festive or seasonal themes.
* Ensuring uniformity of displays across multiple store locations.
* Work closely with Retail/Planning/Merchandising/Ops teams to understand inventory levels and strategy when creating floor sets as well as shop replens & sendbacks.
* Have an in-depth understanding of each of our retail locations in terms of high velocity areas, conversion in different areas of the store, etc.
* Monitoring costs and working within budget.
* Researching lifestyle and design trends that will inform the visual merchandising strategy.
**Qualifications**
* A minimum of 4-5 years experience in Visual Merchandising
* Extensive experience and abilities to lead the delivery of high level customer service
* Excellent communication, collaboration skills as well as good decision making abilities in high pressure situations
* Ability to support conflict resolution
