Dries Van Noten was a charter member of the collective of Belgian designers that disrupted the fashion culture with their avant-garde aesthetics and stylistic daring in the mid-1980s. All alumni of Antwerps Royal Academy of Fine Arts, they became known as the Antwerp Six.

In 1986 he established his own label and opened his first boutique in the Belgian fashion capital, and in 1993 brought his womens collection to the Paris runways.

His clothes are crafted in extraordinary fabrics and prints, the large majority of which are conceived and exclusively created by Dries and his team. Van Notens vision, skill and devotion to the artistry of his designs elevates his work to transcend trends and time.

**Role responsibilities / accountabilities**

Maintain and ensure that all aspects of the stores visual standards are at its highest level and align with the companys aesthetic and ethos;

Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise as well as Dries Van Noten history and heritage;

Proactively update and refresh mannequins, windows, fixtures and shelves on a constant basis, according to product rotation, sales performance and launches;

Ensure new merchandise is featured on the sales floor on a timely manner when shipments arrive;

Ensure visual standards and maintain floor image presentation;

Windows and in-store special events set-up and production;

Effectively provide the Headquarters with ongoing feedback and updates for all executed set-ups by using the most appropriate technologies and tools (PowerPoint, Photography, Office );

Ensure that garments are handled and displayed with the highest qualitative standards and techniques (lightening, fixtures arrangement, folding / hanging, ironing,);

Provide ongoing training to sales team members assuring a good level of autonomy in display maintenance and knowledge of the House visual merchandising standards;

Present the products in a way that reflects collection image, purchasing and stock levels;

Implement and maintain visual displays and merchandising to maximize store business;

Effectively support current business trends with visual needs as they arise;

Maintain VM tools / props, checking condition and inventory;

Contribute to overall facility maintenance, presentation and organization;

Contribute to the daily operations of the store, maintaining a neat and organized selling floor and stock room;

Comply with company policies, procedures, and directives;

Adhere to work schedule, inclusive of time and attendance;

Participate in all relevant training and development seminars, programs, and meetings as directed by store management.

**Qualifications**

5+ years Visual Merchandising experience;

Proficiency with PowerPoint and basic photography skills;

Luxury Fashion Industry experience preferred.

Fluent in English

Must be flexible with hours of work and be comfortable with ever changing priorities;

Strong attention to detail and passion to work efficiently to meet deadlines;
