About Gallello Atelier
With each piece individually hand-sewn for clients by a single artisan in Venice, the house evokes a time when beauty was found in meticulous details and intimate processes. The Atelier is rooted in a family legacy of couturier craft and uncompromising excellence since 1950. Inspired by the artistic heritage of our beloved grandfather, Dominic Gallello, who was the Pattern Cutter to Christian Dior himself. The Atelier is in Venice and the Head Office is in London, England.
The Role
The VIP Style Advisor, Private Client role is a freelance private stylist role to earn a base fee and commission on private client sales.
Responsibilities
- You have an established network of high-net-worth individuals, with a proven track record of client treatment to develop the Atelier's private client database including both clients and personal shoppers.
- You will manage the CRM of your clients to inform them of new collections, invite them to events and nurture the path to sale.
- You will host salon presentations (the Atelier's trunk show) produced by the Atelier and invite clients to shop.
- You will have total knowledge of the products, brand and who the private client is, proactively seeking to grow awareness and garner leads.
- Propose an action plan to attract clients to book private appointments and attend trunkshows.
- Offer the ultimate client 'concierge' service at all times, nurturing relationships and welcoming them to the Gallello family and our community.
What Gallello Atelier Offers

- Invitation to the Atelier's salon presentations for the release of new collections.
- The opportunity to host salon presentations and earn commission on each sale closed at the event. Salon presentations are the Atelier's trunk show reminiscent of 1950s couturier house - there is a catwalk moment and tailors on hand to take clients measurements as they enjoy champagne and canaps. This event will be produced by the Atelier whilst the stylist will populate the guest list.
- Stylist luncheons to learn about and experience new products from the Atelier.
- The opportunity to travel to the Venice atelier and meet the artisans with clients.
Ideal Candidate
- Established network, mainly local, and trusted advisor of high-net-worth individuals, with a proven track record of client treatment
- Personal shopping or retail equivalent experience working with VIPs.
- Demonstrated track record of acting as a contributing member for a sales team
- Very strong and thoughtful personal relations skills with clients as well as team members.
Compensation
- Base compensation and commission
- Stylists with high performance and hit sales target will have a higher commission rate.
- This is a freelance role with a focus on nurturing a client base in New York or other US markets.
