Summary of Responsibilities:
The VP will be part of the team responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of secured as well as unsecured Real Estate Finance transactions for BBVA s U.S. client base, including REITs, developers, financial sponsors, and asset managers. Analysis of trends and market conditions in the Real Estate Finance markets across the U.S. and preparation of internal and external market updates. Assist in the preparation of marketing material and proposals for existing and prospective clients. Manage the deal analysis and approval process of loan requests and renewals, including the underwriting process, loan booking, and loan monitoring.

Moderately complex responsibilities, with a critical component being the coordination and interaction with other client and product groups within the bank, including support areas (Risk, Legal, Compliance, etc). Strong understanding of underwriting and risk analysis of secured real estate transactions.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $180,000 to $220,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
