Storm4 is working with a leading Investment bank who are searching for a VP to lead out their underwriting efforts & service their Energy portfolio's for their Renewable Energy projects.
This position requires having high levels of expertise in structuring, analysis, and credit documentation, whilst also being instrumental in managing deal processes throughout.
Responsibilities
- Manage all external-facing deal processes, from day to day interaction with clients, consultants, and with lawyers
- Lead multiple internal teams across workstreams related to deal underwriting and processing
- Review financial models prepared by team members & train junior members on modeling & other responsibilities
- Lead due diligence efforts and prepare Q&A logs for potential lending opportunities
- Review consultant reports from independent engineers, insurance consultants, appraisal, and power market consultants
- Prepare marketing materials, internal credit memos for potential clients & lenders
- Review & transaction legal documents, providing commentary in the context of deal negotiation
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in a quantitative field
- 6+ years' experience within Project Finance at a Corporate or Investment Bank, Renewable Energy company, consulting firm, or renewables focused Private Equity / Private Credit fund.
- Strong financial modeling skills & of risks related to Renewables & Power energy projects
- Good understanding of tax equity and debt structures used in the U.S. renewables space
- Experience reviewing legal documents
