The Vice President, Corporate Security will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to safeguard physical assets, employees, customers, executives, owners, and sensitive information across the enterprise. The successful candidate will lead the security team and collaborate with various departments to maintain a secure environment aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Areas of major responsibility include strategic security planning, physical security management, personnel and facility protection, incident response, investigations, crisis management, security training and awareness.

Responsibilities

Strategy Leadership/ Management

- Develop and implement a corporate wide security strategy aligned with the company s overall goals and objectives.

- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential workplace threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive measures are in place to safeguard executives, owners, team members and physical assets.

Decision Making/ Authority

- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to mitigate risks and respond to incidents effectively.

- Develop and maintain incident response plans across the enterprise to address security incidents promptly and effectively.

Business/ Financial Results

- Ensure security programs align with business needs, threats to business operations, people, and financial returns.

- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging threats to continually enhance security awareness programs.

Compliance

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of physical security systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.

- Manage relationships with security vendors to ensure the effectiveness of security technologies.

Team Leadership and Development

- Lead teams of security professionals to ensure the safety of employees, customers, and company assets.

- Develop and deliver security training programs for employees, fostering a security-conscious culture within the organization.

Relationship Management

- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to conduct drills and simulations for various security scenarios.

Essential Skills

  • An academic degree in a relevant field with a commitment to professional development for direct reports, others, and yourself.
  • Extensive experience leading people in a large geographically diverse organization preferably within the gaming/ hospitality industry or law enforcement sector.
  • Demonstrated success leading people, processes, and programs in the field of security, crisis management, executive protection, and investigations.
  • In-depth knowledge of physical and information security principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
