Position Summary:
The Laboratory Animal Facilities ( at the University at Buffalo is seeking a New York State licensed Veterinary Technician to administer clinical treatments and monitor the health of animals under our care.
Additional responsibilities include:
+ Physical exam of incoming animals
+ Collection, preparation and testing of biological samples
+ Provide technical support to investigators
+ Maintain animal health records and supply inventories
+ Other animal care related tasks

Minimum Qualifications:
+ Candidates must have a two year degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent and a current New York State License
+ Candidates must have 3 years experience in animal work, in a non-residential setting.
