Qualifications

  • Proficient in patient care & multitasking
  • Knowledge of Veterinary Technology and Anesthesiology
  • Ability to insert IV catheters, intubate pets and calculate drug doses, etc.
  • Ability to administer & monitor anesthesia
  • Ability to perform dental procedures
  • Experience in client education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinic
  • Maintain accurate medical records requiring data entry into database

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be a recent graduate from an accredited Vet Tech program or have two years or more of Vet Tech experience
  • AVImark experience a plus!
  • Weekend and holiday availability

Schedule

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekends as needed
