Were looking to hire a UX Researcher for a customer-centric e-commerce giant. Youll join the Buyer Experience team to drive user-centered insights and influence product strategy.

*This position is a 4-6 month contract. Hybrid 3 days onsite at any of the following locations: NYC, Austin, San Jose, San Francisco, Portland, Bellevue, Washington DC, or Toronto.

As an essential part of the Focus Categories team within the Buyer Experience division, you'll specialize in two significant areas: Motors (vehicle parts & accessories) and Refurbished products. Moreover, your research portfolio will extend to cover Value Added Services (VAS), including tire installation and brand authentication. Collaborating closely with global teams in Motors, Refurbished, and VAS, as well as with Buyer Experience colleagues, you'll engage across various fields such as design, business, product, engineering, and marketing to shape user-centric experiences and products.

UX Researcher Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research questions and conduct insightful research.
• Own the end-to-end user research process, from planning to dissemination of findings.
• Translate research insights into actionable product improvements.
• Identify and prioritize impactful research opportunities.
• Lead and manage vendor/agency research projects.
• Share research insights through storytelling and workshop facilitation.

UX Researcher Requirements:

• 4-7 years of UX Research experience in a corporate or consultancy setting.
• Master's or PhD in Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Human Factors, or related field.
• Proven track record of influencing product strategy through UX Research.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Global Research & eCommerce Experience:
• German language skills are a plus, but not a requirement.
