Functional Analyst UKG Advanced Scheduling Business Applications

Job Description

This position serves on a team of UKG experts working on the implementation and post go-live support of the UKG PRO Workforce Management software.

During the implementation product, this person will be responsible for the build and configuration of 800+ Nursing departments and 200 Non-Nursing Departments, pay rules, work rules and other system configuration.

Post go-live this position will provide post production support, assist with knowledge transfer activities and help ensure an overall smooth transition process to the new timekeeping/absence and scheduling software.

This role will also provide internal customers (Nursing/Payroll) with the best possible solutions to utilize the system, roll out new functionality, identify potential process improvements, troubleshoot problems and provide user support. This person Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of UKG is a must
  • Provide functional support and configuration expertise to the team for UKG scheduling.
  • Involved in all testing phases and issue resolution for the project including integration with PeopleSoft Human Resource and UKG Workforce Management modules.
  • Partner with Nursing personnel to support business operations and satisfy user inquiries, resolve issues and support applications.
  • Collaborate with peers and customers to deliver solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field of study; and Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems and applications.

  • Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).
  • Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience.
  • Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniques;

OR - A satisfactory equivalent (~9 yrs) combination of training, education and experience.

Department Preferences

  • Knowledge of UKG Advanced Scheduling System
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio etc.).
  • Successfully completed and/or involved in at least one full life-cycle UKG implementation and/or upgrade.
  • Previous experience interfacing UKG to PeopleSoft/Epic/Point Click Care is a plus.
  • Experience in PeopleSoft HR is a plus
