Trust Estates Paralegal
Boutique law firm in midtown Manhattan is hiring a Trust and Estates Paralegal. This is working with a lovely group and the firm is more like a family than a typical office. Everyone is warm, friendly and people love to stay there.
This role will pay $90K-$135K plus bonus and an excellent benefits package.
We are looking for an experienced trust & estates paralegal with an expertise in sophisticated estate planning and the administration of complex estates and trusts. The ideal candidate would have extensive experience preparing estate and gift tax returns, familiarity with the generation-skipping transfer tax, administering large estates from probate through final settlement, and all other aspects of estate and trust administration. She or he should have the ability to understand and assist attorneys with tax, surrogate s court, and other issues related to estate and trust administration. Proven skills in project management, organization, the ability to work independently, and client relations as well as experience with Onesource/FPS, Excel and Hot Docs is a must. Experience with administration of charitable organizations, including preparation of federal tax filings and state-level reporting, is a plus.
