Our client, a boutique personal injury firm, is seeking an Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law, preferably with trial experience representing individuals in medical malpractice, nursing home neglect and construction injury related cases.
First chair trial experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have trial experience in New York State and Federal Court , bringing tried cases to verdict. Negotiation experience is also required to successfully bring cases to settlement. Demonstrated experience with case management, from inception to resolution is required.
The ideal candidate will have superior drafting and editing abilities. The Associate must have experience drafting pleadings and discovery responses. Candidates must be barred in NY, in good standing. Compensation is comprised of salary in the range of $125K-155K plus liberal bonus potential. In addition, a solid health benefits package is offered.
