**Transportation Program Manager**

** Buffalo Full Time 50,000-75,000**

* Work collaboratively with existing partner organizations, including the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA), Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC), Greater Buffalo Niagara Regional TransportationCouncil (GBNRTC) and Buffalo Niagara Partnership (BNP) through effective project management and outreach.

* Work with GObikes Communications Director to develop, implement and promote Transportation Demand Management (TDM) strategies, objectives and marketing materials that provide alternative travel options and improve mobility.

* Work with human resources departments at partner organizations and businesses to promote the addition of multi-modal transportation benefits and packages for their employees.

* Develop TDM plans for clients including employers and property owners to ensure consistency with the City of Buffalos Green Code (zoning code) requirements.

* Provide assistance and best-practices to businesses and organizations through consultations, communications, policy outreach and other events to support multi-modal solutions for commuters and employers.

* Deliver TDM presentations to employers, commuters and other constituencies.

* Deepen existing employer partnerships and be responsible to program opportunities, needs and challenges.

* Devise new approaches to commuting options and track program outcomes.

* Conduct worksite assessments to guide the development and implementation of commuter programming.

* Develop relationships with other partners such as the downtown and neighborhood business associations and business improvement districts to enhance overall Transportation Management Association development, membership, marketing and outreach.

* Provide bi-monthly reporting on key activities and tasks accomplished and collaborate with the larger team, as necessary, to achieve TMA planning goals.

* A Bachelors degree in marketing, business, accounting, communications, urban planning, public administration, environmental sciences, or another related field.

* A minimum of two years paid work experience in a professional setting, ideally related to sales and marketing, office administration, accounting, retail, transportation, or customer service.

* Understanding of transportation planning and coordination of specific transportation projects such as transit planning and operations, carpool, bike or pedestrian planning.

* Demonstrated skill in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs.

* Ability to interpret institutional policies and/or federal, state and local regulations and create programs to fit within these policies and advance project goals.

* Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with partners, private sector representatives, government agencies and the general public.

* Demonstrated ability to work across racial, ethnic, gender, class and ability differences

* Personal commitment to active transportation (biking, walking, and transit)

* Experience and/or comfort with public speaking and presentation

* Experience and/or comfort using video-conferencing tools

* Ability to manage their time across multiple projects

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Comfort using Microsoft office and web-based file systems (i.e., Google Suite)
