You re going to focus on the Asian hours in this role, it s worth mentioning that upfront. With these hours, there s flexibility around how many days a week you come into the office this can be discussed on application.
There s a huge chance for you to learn and grow here. This position will just be the start of your career here, internal mobility is something they pride themselves on. Initially though, you ll be coming in to work on the Asia Desk, monitoring everything from a trading operations point of view. There ll be varied problems to solve and lots of opportunities to innovate.
Part of your role will be the monitoring side, the other aspect will be building new tools and automations. You ll be encouraged to come up with new ideas and they will be listened to. Most automation here is done using Python, with lots of database work too using SQL.
It s essential that you have prior experience in a trade operations position, number of years is pretty flexible. This is a quant trading firm that s technology driven, so you ll need to be a technologist at heart and along with having excellent problem solving and analytical ability, you ll need to have some computational experience. Scripting with any kind of language, Python preferred, and experience with Linux, networking, cloud, SQL or anything else would be a huge plus.
Starting salary will be in the region of $200,000-250,000 plus a benefits package that includes performance related bonuses that could double your salary, full medical, dental and vison, plus a range of other perks and benefits that we can discuss when you apply.
