** TOOL CRIB ATTENDANT I**

****Job Overview****

TE Connectivity's Tool Crib Teams receive, store and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, measuring devices and other equipment. They keep records of tools issued and returned, conduct periodic or perpetual inventory and requisition stock as needed. They are responsible for unpacking and storing new equipment as well as for visually inspecting tools or measures with a micrometer for wear or defects and reporting damaged and worn-out equipment. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

The Stores Attendant will manage and maintain tooling orders for production and indirect production support. The chosen candidate will verify and audit orders as well.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and verify daily tooling order transactions.

Stocks vendor deliveries in a warehouse or supply room.

Checks that deliveries conform to purchase orders as to quantity and quality, and reports stock damage.

Maintains established inventory levels.

Reviews order forms for proper coding, quantities requested and authorized approvals, marks materials with appropriate identification codes

May provide training to others.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledgeable in SAP

Basic computer skills required

Knowledge/ Experience of inventory control and purchasing.

A combination of job-related vocational training and relevant work experience (4+ years).

Basic math skills

High school education required and vocational/technical school preferred

Works under minimal supervision, referring only very complex issues to higher levels.

Must be proficient in the English language.
