Overview of Position:
The Senior Designer (Graphic) works with the Senior Art Director and Global Creative
Lab to develop advertising campaigns that communicate the brand values and product
offerings of Uniqlo. Projects include developing content for seasonal campaigns,
fashion collaborations, new store launches and special projects that are used in stores,
magazines and across digital and social channels.
Essential Functions:
Ability to design and flex across a variety of creative projects under tight
deadlines
Can lead and contribute concepts and ideas for projects through references,
mood boards and sketches
Loves to collaborate within a team environment and is respectful of Uniqlo
corporate culture
A positive mindset and enthusiasm to do whatever it takes to get the job done
Can take ownership of projects such as design guidelines and templates
Organizational skills, accountability and attention to detail
Flexible to work a retail schedule and to accommodate international meetings
based on business need
Liaise with third party providers and agencies when needed
Qualifications:
A diverse portfolio that shows a range of digital and print work
6+ years of design experience; preferably at a creative agency or in-house
Strong knowledge of typography, graphic design and confident in Adobe
Creative Suite
Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Interest in photography and art direction
Editing and motion experience is a bonus
A connection to trends in fashion, art, music and contemporary culture
BA strongly preferred in Graphic Design or related field.
Salary: $65- $75 per hour
