Rate: $100k to $121k/Per Annum

Job Description:

As the Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our customers, Operations, and the Commercial team across all producing plants. Your primary focus will be validating technical offers, resolving manufacturing challenges, and fostering development. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from customers, while also managing a portfolio of key accounts. Your success will be measured by your ability to effectively represent Client s manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the principal liaison between customers, Operations, and the Commercial team to validate technical offers and address manufacturing challenges and developments.
  • Provide support for technical inquiries from customers and engage in meaningful interactions.
  • Assume direct commercial responsibility for a defined set of customers, ensuring successful representation of Client s manufacturing.
  • Market and sell a range of products across various applications, including personal, vehicular, air, maritime, and stationary objects.
  • Manage key programs from award to successful completion, serving as the primary interface between the customer and internal operations.
  • Track and report on customer orders and requirements, collaborating with Engineering, Customer Service, R&D, and Operations teams.
  • Work closely with operations and R&D to provide technical support and problem-solving for customers, marketing, production, and customer service.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for assigned customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Manufacturing, with a preference for experience in Ceramics.
  • Thorough understanding of material processing, gained through hands-on experience, specific training, and formal education.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials/Industrial Engineering.
  • 7 years of Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in material processing and communicating technical information with customers.
  • Nice to Have 7 years of experience with Ceramics.
