Technical Accounting Manager Hybrid Remote Schedule About Ivy:

This is a hybrid remote position within our corporate office located in White Plains, NY. What you'll do:
  • Establish more robust accounting processes related to technical accounting matters, with a focus on operating like a best in class finance department (strong internal controls, accuracy of results, streamlined procedures).
  • Ownership of technical accounting matters such as stock-based compensation, goodwill and longt-term asset impairment evaluation, lender credit agreements and purchase accounting.
  • Partner with ERP implementation team and PMO to support the design and testing of more complex accounting matters, such as inter-company accounting transactions for multi-faceted management service agreements.
  • Oversee the process to draft the annual financial statements footnote disclosures, including completion of the auditor US GAAP disclosure checklist.
  • Prepare subsidiary level financial reporting packages in compliance with various contracts, in response to requests from landlords and other ad hoc requests received.
  • Be actively involved with external auditors throughout the annual audit process.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of process improvements that drive enhancement of internal controls, efficiencies, and accountability within the department.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional department leaders (legal, facilities, operations, finance & accounting) to drive process excellence and strategic initiatives.

What you need:
  • Degree in Accounting
  • 6+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Knowledge of WorkDay and Great Plains is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, especially Excel)
  • Team player that can collaborate with other teams in the organization
  • Experience executing process improvements and overseeing change management
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management.

Ivy Rehab provides a salary range to comply with the New York Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $100,000 - $120,000. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and organizational need.
