**Job Description**

The Clipper Magazine Team Leader will oversee and guide the daily operations of an art production team to meet time, cost, and quality goals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The Team Leader will work closely with sales, finance, and other internal shareholders to meet these objectives while delivering high customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will drive results using established metrics to manage performance, will create strong relationships across multiple functional areas, promote the growth of individual team members, and participate in process improvement projects to drive the organization forward.

**Key Duties/Responsibilities:**

1. Lead team and/or department that oversees a portion of Art Production's administrative, creative, customer service, and support functions.

2. Establish and review key metrics; establish goals and procedures to meet time, cost, and quality goals; monitor productivity levels versus goals; provide ongoing coaching and training to ensure teams continued success.

3. Collaborate across departments and assume the leadership of projects, as needed, in planning for near, intermediate, and long-term strategies to ensure the continued growth and adaptation of a dynamically evolving company; specifically, ensure Art Operations and Production Operations processes and procedures are in alignment.

4. Assumes a close working relationship with Sales Managers and the sales force to establish and address weekly page/product counts, closing strategies, timeline concerns, contract issues and prep week updates while being the primary bridge between outside sales and the internal production team.

**Qualifications**

**Education & Knowledge:**

4-year business degree or comparable education or experience

3-5 years management or comparable experience, art or production environment preferred

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word and Excel

Basic understanding of direct mail and print industries

Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred

**Supervisory Responsibility:** 14-16 Direct Reports

Responsible for all employees on one self-directed work team or one or more shared services teams.

**Communication & Contacts (Internal/External):**

**Position requires regular and repeated written and verbal (both email and phone, inbound and outbound) communication with internal and external contacts, who are primarily English speaking.**

Communicates internally with Leadership: Manager, Operations, Manager, Creative and Quality and Director, Production Operations

Communicates internally with Peers: Team Leaders, Creative Specialists and Managers of Non-Production Departments

Communicates internally with Others: all members in Production, Print Production, Finance, Total Loyalty Solutions, Merchant Support and Deal Review

Communicates to Sales Managers and Sales Force

Communicates externally to Customers and Vendors

**Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:**

Position will be located in the Mountville, PA office with some ability to work remotely. Occasional travel may be required.
