We are currently seeking multiple contracted paraprofessionals to join our team at a district in Brookhaven, NY.The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.Responsibilities:
- Assist students with academic and social-emotional needs
- Support classroom instruction and management
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by the teacher or special education team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary clearances
This is a contracted position with a competitive hourly rate ($22+). The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with hours to be determined by the school's needs.
