123 Baby Talks is located in the Bronx, NY, and is dedicated to supporting the development of young children through specialized early intervention services. Our comprehensive early intervention services are tailored to each child s unique needs and are provided at no direct cost to families.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Teacher Assistant at 123 Baby Talks. The Teacher Assistant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities in the classroom, assisting the lead teacher with lesson plans, facilitating activities, and providing one-on-one support to children. The Teacher Assistant will also assist with maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Assistant Teaching and Education skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with children
• Basic knowledge of mathematics
• Ability to work collaboratively with the lead teacher
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic classroom setting
• Experience with special needs children is a plus
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• Must be willing to undergo comprehensive background checking and fingerprinting.
