- Support classroom teachers with daily activities, including lesson preparation and classroom management
- Work with small groups of students to provide individual attention and support
- Assist with grading and record-keeping
- Provide supervision during lunch and recess
- Communicate regularly with parents and other staff members
- Attend meetings and trainings as required
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability, able to adjust to changing needs and demands
