SUMMARY: As a Teacher Aide, your care and interaction with the children helps the teacher to maintain a positive environment for both the children and parents.

DEPARTMENT: Child Care Services
SCHEDULE: Days & Evenings
ATTRIBUTES- One (1) year of work experience with small children preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES - Teaching Aide. Assist the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all children
- Classroom Management. Help create an environment that supports children's growth and development; efficiently guide children's behavior in a positive, age appropriate manner; ensure the safety of the children and promote healthy habits
- Relationship Development. Maintain a positive relationship with all children and their families; communicate appropriately with families regarding daily activities of the children

EDUCATION:LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
