A financial services company located in New York City is actively seeking a dedicated and analytical professional to join their staff as their new Tax Associate. Responsibilities: The Tax Associate will:
- Assist in the review of tax filings and K-1s
- Prepare tax estimates and projections
- Prepare tax provisions for blocker corporations
- Assist with document retention, memos on reorgs, and implications on year-end reporting
Qualifications
- Undergraduate/Master's degree in Accounting or Tax
- CPA or Parts passed
- 2+ years of public / private tax accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, as well as PowerPoint)
- Team-oriented
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
