Job Description:
Overview:

The role is responsible to Assist Control and Reporting manager to review all loan supporting document, draw down requirement with the bank, negotiate FX trade and review all WHT, CITR and VAT report. This role will also support Operation Control function and partnering with operation team for CAPEX payment requirement (FX trade, Loan) and support control function with Tax compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead all Tax, Treasury of Indonesia COSO Business. Highlight any potential issues and working with authority for any Audit Operation. Responsibilities cover compliance with 1) local statutory tax and accounting regulations, 2) Bank governance requirements and 3) the PepsiCo GCS framework.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements related to Income Tax, leading verification & filling tax returns.
  • Provide guidance to businesses on queries related to Income Tax, VAT & WHT with randomly verifying monthly tax submissions to ensure compliance with laws.
  • Manage all tax issues including Revenue Dept, Customs Dept. & Excise tax Dept., including representing the company in front of each authority, coordinating with Corporate tax & consultants for replying to various queries from each Authority Dept on their routine Operation Audit and Special Audit.
  • Review CAPEX Proposal (CARs) related to the Tax part and work with Sector Treasury for Treasury part of proposal.
  • Monitor funding needs of Snacks business and co-ordinate with Corporate Treasury for funding of businesses.
  • Work with Corporate Treasury for the proper banking & credit facilities with authorized banks used by Indonesia Legal entities to adequately support businesses.
  • Act as point of contact with banks for managing relationship, manage funding for the businesses. Lead and support treasury related projects both local and global.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, CA or CPA qualification; statutory accounting experience preferred.
  • At least 5 years post qualification experience of which at least 2 years should be in a manufacturing working on Tax and treasury.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Solid analytical/functional skills. Ability to connect the dots/see the big picture without losing sight of details.
  • Strong operation and financial awareness
  • MNC, FMCG experience is a must
  • Solid understanding of Tax
  • Good knowledge of local GAAP accounting
  • Proficient in English: Listening, Speaking and writing
  • Computer literacy e.g. SAP, Concur, Blackline
  • Building cross-functional, cross-divisional partnerships and hands-on application of situational leadership model
  • Solid skills in planning and costing processes to design and manage internal control systems for all scenarios (Own manufacturing, co-manufacturing)
