We're seeking an enthusiastic Talent Manager to join our team in Jersey City. This role involves working closely with new and existing clients, developing business, and negotiating terms. The job duties extend to marketing our services via different channels, including telephone and in-person meetings primarily targeting hiring managers within finance and accounting departments.
Key responsibilities also include recruiting, interviewing, and matching finance professionals with our client s needs; managing ongoing contracts; ensuring outstanding customer service; providing frequent communication and career guidance to candidates; and participating in trade and networking events to expand Robert Half's local business community presence.
Preferred qualifications:
- A degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
- A minimum of 1-year experience in finance, accounting, or banking.
- At least 2 years of Business Development experience in a metrics-driven environment with a proven track record in dealing with multiple decision-makers.
- Experience in marketing and closing deals with top executives at SMEs, and establishing long term relationships.
- Proficiency in Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), and any Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application like Salesforce.
- Familiarity with the operations of accounting and finance departments.
- A positive attitude, engaging business etiquette, and a team-player mentality.
