Key Responsibilities:Design and Implementation:
  • Help design and deploy an IT infrastructure that aligns with the company's corporate and customer needs.
  • Deploy, onboard, and support Managed Services customers.
Maintenance and Monitoring:
  • Proactively monitoring the network and infrastructure for any potential issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, updates, and patching to ensure the network and infrastructure remains secure and efficient.
  • Proactively monitor network and infrastructure health, check backups daily, run vulnerability scans at regular intervals and perform remediation.
  • Help ensure proper role-based access and regularly audit admin access to infrastructure.
Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Ensure a high level of network/infrastructure uptime and availability.
  • Act as an escalation point for network or infrastructure related issues.
  • Develop, implement, and document network/infrastructure troubleshooting procedures.
  • Participate in on call rotation and provide 24/7 support for GSOC and managed services customers.
  • Help ensure ticket response/resolution times meet SLAs.
  • Provide helpdesk support to employees at the Rochester office when needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Create and maintain up-to-date documentation of the network and IT service topology, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide detailed project plans for high impact changes and follow change management procedures as needed.
Planning and Strategy:
  • Evaluating emerging technologies and making recommendations for future network/infrastructure upgrades.
  • Ensuring that network and server infrastructure aligns with the overall IT and business strategy.
  • Participate in disaster recovery exercises and business continuity planning.
Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
  • Expert at managing an enterprise Microsoft infrastructure including Active Directory, Windows Server, o365 Suite, Azure AD, Exchange online, SharePoint, Teams.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies, design, protocols, and security.
  • Experience with network device management of firewalls, switches, and WAPs including security policies, troubleshooting, VLAN and port configuration, routing, and switching. Meraki preferred.
  • Experience deploying and managing enterprise systems in AWS/Azure.
  • Experience deploying, integrating, and managing and SSO/MFA solutions such as ADFS, Azure AD, Okta, Duo.
  • Experience deploying and managing UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) systems such as Intune in a cross-platform environment (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android).
  • Knowledge of server hardware platforms (Dell preferred) & virtualization architecture (VMware vSphere or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience with scripting and automation.
  • Experience configuring and managing Jira and/or Zendesk.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and rectify network issues efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with SAN and fibre channel storage a plus.
  • Experience with ISO 27001 ISMS policies, procedures, and audits a plus.
Education & Experience:5+ years of experience in network administration.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineer or related field. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
