SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain/Scheduling Rotational Program is an onsite entry level position designed to provide a unique experience across various business functions to develop future leaders of the organization. Team members will rotate through various functions within supply chain and production scheduling to fast track their professional development and create opportunities for long-term career advancement. Team Members will be supported by a single point of contact manager to lead and mentor you through this rotational role as you expand your knowledge on the company s supply chain. Team members will be responsible in learning and managing procurement, vendor relations, supply strategy and production scheduling in their rotational role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Procurement
Manage the plant s raw material goods inventory ensuring transparency of spending
Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
Balancing of order and deliveries of open purchase orders
Work with Accounts payable to balance payments of purchases order
Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
Assisted raw material purchasing
Scheduling
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor s degree in supply chain, business, industrial engineering, or related field.
Strong Excel skills and familiar with balancing pivot tables, xlookup and complicated Excel functions.
Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
Strong project management and leadership skills
Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
