**About You**

**About The Role**

The Store Manager operates a profitable and service minded shop through the successful development of a team that can consistently deliver results. Responsible for all aspects of managing a single store including supervision and scheduling of store associates and overseeing store operations to achieve sales, service, customer satisfaction and profitability goals. Responsible for budget including store payroll and overall expenses.

Responsibilities Include:

General

* Arrive on time and floor ready

* A positive, outgoing, high energy personality that is entrepreneurial, who is sales focused and takes full ownership of the stores business at all levels

* Handle in-store RTVs, damages, transfers, etc. when necessary

* Interpreting reports and predicting future sales

* Support execution of all visual merchandise updates and standards

* Provide product knowledge and vendor information on new arrivals to the retail team

* Conduct in-store/product cycle counts in a timely and accurate basis

* Handle in-store markdowns and promos

* Responsible for weekly bank deposits and oversees petty cash log and deposit log

* Manage team to store goals and overall store performance

* Effectively perform operational functions: open and close a store, register, and back office management procedures

Customer Service

* Ability to clientele and understand the customer needs

* Promote employee selling and merchandising skill by demonstrating and leading by example

* Maintain an effective clientele list and wait list

* Drive business through reacting to customers needs and wants

* Always acts in the best interest of the customer

* Professional phone presence when calling clients

Leadership

* Mentor and leader to staff and peers, developing individual strengths and identifying opportunities

* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

* Train new sales team members and hold the sales team accountable to goop Inc. standards

* Interface with all levels of management and associates in a manner that promotes learning and respect

* Abide by company policies and procedures

**Qualifications & Experience**

* BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and sufficient work experience

* At least 2+ years retail management experience and at least 1 year in Luxury Retail and/or High End service

* Strong verbal and written skills allowing for communication of the companys goals and objectives

* Creative with an understanding of current fashion

* Basic computer skills

* Physical requirements: lift/carry/move 40lbs minimum including fixtures and product

* Ability to work a flexible schedule including blackout periods during holidays, overnights, and weekends (must work Saturdays and Sundays if needed)
