We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Clerk to join our team. As a Stockroom Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely availability of materials and supplies. Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies
- Verify and record received items in the inventory system
- Label and store items in a designated storage area
- Retrieve and distribute materials and supplies to appropriate departments
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control and management processes
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to stockroom activities
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized stockroom
- Assist in the organization and optimization of stockroom layout
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in stockroom or inventory control
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles and procedures
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures
- Experience with cycle counting and reconciliation
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
