Must haves:

• At least 3+ years of accounting experience
• A degree in accounting (can be major or minor in accounting)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proven experience utilizing a computerized general ledger system.
• Experience handling grants both budgeting and allocation.
• Open to an everchanging environment and adaptability
• COVID-19 Vaccination

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Research Accounting team at the top Orthopedic Hospital system in the country! This person will be responsible for utilizing EPIC to review research-related patient activity as well as utilizing the Clinical Trial Management System to analyze contracts and handle related billing activity. Other responsibilities include tracking clinical trial AR, preparation, and completion of clinical trial account analysis, updating monthly deficit lists, and process cash receipts. Team members will rely on this person to get information on the Uniform Grand Guidance annual audit. The ability to be flexible is key as this organization is rolling out a new Financial Management system in Q3 of this year. This person will be working alongside 2 other accountants.
