Job Title:Staff AccountantCompany/Industry:Well-established aerospace companyLocation: Proximity to Garden City, NYSalary: $65-80K/yr Commensurate with experience, inclusive of benefitsStatus: Direct hire, FT, On-SiteEssential Duties:Assist in month-end financial statement closePreparation of monthly financial analysis reports and maintain department budgetsPrepare general ledger month-end journal entriesMaintain detailed reconciliations of several balance sheet accountsReconcile and analyze G/L activity on a recurring basisPrepare bank reconciliationsSupport financial statement auditsSupport other accounting projects, as necessaryQualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting; or a bachelor's degree in Business, with an emphasis in Accounting required.3+ years' experience in accounting or related fieldStrong Microsoft Excel skills a mustSelf-starter with ability to work under limited supervisionKnowledge of applicable Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General ledger proceduresManufacturing experience preferred.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 Per Year
