Structured Cabling Project Manager needed for well known Long Island NY Hospital
Long term Contract - Possible Conversion to Full Time if interested

Primarily for the Main Hospital in Mineola, Long Island.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implementation telecommunications pathways, spaces and technology rooms
- Directly manage and coordinate with team members and varying dependent organizations to ensure successful on time completion of Structured Cabling design implementations.
- Design hospital build-out projects for clinical and non-clinical space, technology rooms, such as IDF s and BDF s.
- Design and prepare the layout of floor plans, riser diagrams, schedules, specification notes and details with special emphasis on Structured Cabling.
- Liaison with data connectivity support to receive patching schedules and requests
- Liaison with Telecom Department to design POE s.
- Create RFP s and bid packages for Low Voltage Cable Contractors and IT Design Engineers
- Level bids
- Review proposals and process paperwork for approval
Skills required:
- 5-7 years of HealthCare experience is preferred
- RCDD Certification or willingness to achieve is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
- Ability to think ahead and plan
- Provide effective problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and a functional level
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to meet deadlines and multitask
- Must be able to work in fast paced team oriented environment
- Must be willing to travel within the Tri-State area.
