Trident Consulting is looking for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for one of our clients
Role: Sr. Mechanical Engineer
Location: Rochester, NY (Onsite)
Type: Contract
PCB design for RF circuits experience is required
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement concepts for a range of complex product issues and engineering solutions independently.
Lead or execute engineering projects and drive research and development of new technologies as needed.
Identify and troubleshoot significantly complex engineering problems, ensuring effective resolution.
Interface with internal and external stakeholders to address high-value engineering issues for various products.
Generate product specifications, coordinate and perform engineering tests, and document results.
Specify and review engineering documentation and processes to ensure quality and compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience.
Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design, preferably with hands-on experience in high voltage products.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
Demonstrated technical leadership skills and commitment to delivering high-quality products within deadlines.
Experience in analysis, testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and root-causing electro-mechanical systems.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related software.
