We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Field Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our technical infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, and providing advanced technical support. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of networking, Windows desktop and server administration, Microsoft Active Directory (AD) along with exceptional troubleshooting skills.
Contract role to start, 3 month extensions - very strong probability of contract to hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure robust and reliable connectivity.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows desktop and server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Maintain Microsoft AD, including group policy creation, user account management, and directory services.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support, rapidly resolving complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
- Document systems, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical operations or similar role.
- Proven expertise in networking, Windows desktop/server administration, MS AD, and SQL report writing.
- Experience in managing working with AWS environments, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
