Job Description:
The Senior HR Business partner role will partner with higher level business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, human capital planning, workforce planning, and employee engagement. To be successful in this role, one must understand organizational business model and priorities; translating them into the highest impact work. This role will help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience. The Sr. HRBP acts as coach and confidential advisor to the executive in charge of the division along with other business leaders, providing feedback on style and environmental concerns observed within the division. This position acts as a single point of contact to business leaders for all Human Resource needs and coordinates the delivery of solutions through effective teamwork with the HR Centers of Excellence.* Develop strategic partnerships with Business leaders to provide thought leadership regarding change management, organizational strategy and execution that's aligned with business strategies. Work closely with leaders to assess, improve and ultimately measure effective work morale, productivity and retention.* Provides insight to practices, behaviors, skill requirements, organizational structure, and processes effecting the work environment and ability to achieve goals.* Provide innovative solutions that leverage organizational design and effectiveness skills to maximize business results through our people.* Establish, build and maintain positive relationships with COEs and HR Shared Services to ensure all elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet business needs; this includes implementation of HR programs, relationship management and service delivery commitments. Contribute to the design and delivery of programs and initiatives to attract, retain and promote a diverse and inclusive workforce.* Work as the ambassador of the HR organization to represent the services and resources available to employees and help lead the collective reputation of the HR organization as a whole.* Integrate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to ensure equitable practices and talent initiatives to provide growth opportunities for employees. * Drive the integration of performance management into the strategic business performance process to ensure clarity of goals to set expectations for business results. Leverage corporate philosophy to align performance with rewards to engage and retain employees. * Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.* Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.*Required Qualifications:** Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) Human Resources or Business Administration* 10+ Years of HR experience. Preferred experience in Financial Services Industry* Professional certification from SHRM or HRCI preferred.*Preferred Qualifications:** Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent) MBA or HR (Add applicable additional detail i.e. field of study preferred or equivalent work experience if applicable)*Job Competencies:** The aptitude to understand the business s needs to influence strategic decisions and the ability to provide sophisticated advice and coaching in response to business issues.* Experience in applying HR knowledge to specific needs of the business-total rewards; leadership and management development; organization and individual performance; succession and talent planning; and talent acquisition (candidate assessment).* Established experience in challenging and influencing leadership on internal and external business trends and issues.* Strong decision-making skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment where limited precedents sometime exist. Comfortable with change and ambiguity.* Ability to effectively drive change throughout the organization.* Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply data along with the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.* Ability to travel to travel to assigned business locations 10% of the time* Physical demands (ADA): No unusual physical exertion is involved.
