What You'll Be Doing:Development and management of the operating software utilized on automated flexible fabric cutting machines.Lead high-level design and low-level coding for software engineering projects.Utilize the latest technologies / tools to maximize company s industrial competitiveness.Ensure software development standards and processes are followed, working towards continuous improvement in this area.Works with management to develop the technical skills of other engineers.Familiarize new team members with the Company s software-based products.What You'll Need to Have:BS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering10+ years of experience writing C++ programs in MFC environment (or equivalent) Microsoft Foundation Class Library (MFC)10+ years combined experience with Visual Studio 2008 / 2010 / 20195+ years of development experience with multi-threaded applications5+ years of experience writing MDI applications.Proven experience in integrating hardware and softwareThorough understanding and demonstrated experience with OOA / OODStrong familiarity with Continuous Integration, Unit Testing, and Regression TestingPractical experience with SLDC / Agile / Source Code ManagementExperience with WPF, C#, and .NET development. Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) like WinformsExperience with machine or motion control.Development of CAD applications or similar programming experienceExperience in Graphical User Interface ProgrammingWorking knowledge of Atlassian SDLC products (i.e., Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)Socket / Ethernet programming.
