**Job Summary**

The Sr. Analyst, Merchandise Finance & Analytics will support the delivery of key strategic goals, working closely with Merchandising, Store Operations, & Supply Chain to help provide analysis and strategy around business performance. This person must be a detail oriented strategic thinker with the curiosity to find the why behind the data and a drive to be impactful including an understanding of how product strategy impacts sales and margin. You will prepare weekly, monthly, and annual planning and forecasting. The position provides the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects cross-functionally with exposure to many business teams making recommendations to help shape the growth of the company.

**What You Do**

Execution: Implement strategic initiatives across channels, working with cross-functional teams

Report & Present: Ensure proper tracking and communication and presentation on results from key initiatives

Analyze: Conduct data analysis to develop hypotheses, structure P&Ls, and build business cases to inform strategic decisions

Model: Develop models & analysis to support our decision-making regarding key revenue initiatives

Support P&L forecast processes and summarize forecast highlights, risks, and opportunities for Merchandising department

Effectively communicate findings and provide key insights and recommendations to stakeholders

Support the execution of initiatives to validate the initial hypothesis, iterating and ideating on the recommendations

Work closely with the Merchandising, Store Operations, and Supply Chain teams

Translate strategy into specific business initiatives and develop tools to measure and evaluate them

**Knowledge & Experience**

BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, or Business

MBA preferred

3+ years of experience, preferably in a retail environment

Strong business insights and proven project management skills

Ideally familiar with querying languages, data manipulation tools, and data visualization tools

Superb communication skills (oral, written and listening); Ability to create meaningful presentations that tell a story

Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence through all levels of the organization

Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
